Fair Go Casino mobile NZ: pokies in your phone's browser

Fair Go doesn't make you download anything. It says its casino is browser-based on iOS and Android, with no app required, so Fair Go Casino mobile NZ play happens in Safari, Chrome or whichever browser your phone already has. That's Fair Go's own claim, checked 8 October 2026. It also means there's no app-store listing to search for, and no update to wait on.

Mobile pokies NZ: how Fair Go works in your browser

You open the same site you'd use on a computer, and it adapts to the smaller screen. Your account, balance, active bonuses and cashier are all shared, so you can start a session on the couch and finish it at the desk. Pokies load inside the browser, one at a time. The same login works everywhere; our guide to signing in to Fair Go from your phone covers resets and lookalike pages.

• Turn your phone sideways for pokies with wide reel sets. Many look and play better in landscape.
• Close other tabs if a game stutters. Browsers share memory between tabs.
• Keep the browser updated. Older versions are the usual reason a game won't load.

Nothing about the offer changes on mobile. The welcome package, the weekly codes and the wagering rules are the same as on desktop, and so is the $10 maximum bet while a bonus is active. On a small screen it's easy to tap a stake up by mistake, so check it before you spin.

Add Fair Go to your home screen

A home-screen shortcut opens Fair Go full screen with one tap, and it guarantees you're always going to the same address. Set it up from Fair Go's real site, reached through a button here or your own bookmark.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

1. Open Fair Go in Safari and check the address.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen, rename it if you like, then tap Add.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open Fair Go in Chrome and check the address.
2. Tap the three-dot menu.
3. Choose Add to Home screen (some versions say Install app), then confirm.

Apple Pay casino NZ: paying at Fair Go from your phone

Phone wallets are the quickest way in. Fair Go's banking page lists Apple Pay and Google Pay with a $20 minimum, shown as free and instant. Neosurf vouchers work well on a phone too: you type the voucher code into the cashier, and the voucher's value naturally caps what you spend. Crypto deposits can be made from a wallet app by scanning the cashier's QR code, from $5 with Lightning.

The catch is the way back. Apple Pay, Google Pay and cards aren't on Fair Go's withdrawal list, which offers only Bitcoin, eZeeWallet or Wire Transfer. Our deposit guide for NZ players explains how to choose a method with your withdrawal in mind, and the crypto guide covers wallet apps.

Data, battery and Wi-Fi

Pokies are animated and noisy by design, which costs data and battery. Fair Go doesn't publish data figures, and they differ from game to game, so these habits help:

• Load new games on Wi-Fi. The first load of a pokie is usually the heaviest.
• Be careful on public Wi-Fi. Cafés and airports are fine for browsing, but log in and pay on your own mobile data or a network you trust.
• Watch the battery. Low-power modes can slow animations. Plug in for longer sessions, or treat a flat battery as a natural stopping point.
• If the connection drops mid-spin, don't panic-spin again. Reopen the game, check your balance and game history, then ask live chat if something looks wrong.

Fake Fair Go apps and APK files

Because Fair Go says it has no app, anything presented as the Fair Go app is, at best, a shortcut someone else made and, at worst, malware. Be especially wary of APK files for Android, links shared in social media comments, and ads promising an “exclusive app bonus”. Installing an APK means switching off protections that keep unknown software off your phone. If you've already installed something like this, delete it, change your Fair Go password from a trusted device, and keep an eye on your bank statements.

Phone tools that help you keep limits

Your phone can do some of the work of sticking to a plan. On iPhone, Screen Time can limit time in apps and restrict websites. On Android, Digital Wellbeing can set daily timers for apps, including your browser. A simple alarm set for the end of your session works on any phone. For money limits, ask Fair Go's live chat what deposit limits it can set on your account, and ask your bank about gambling blocks on your cards. Our responsible gambling page has more ideas, and the Gambling Helpline is free on 0800 654 655.

Your phone's clock and Fair Go's promo days

Your phone shows New Zealand time, but Fair Go doesn't say which time zone its promotion days use. If it follows Australian eastern time, a Monday deal starts a couple of hours after midnight on your phone. Check Fair Go's weekly promotions in NZ time before you deposit late at night, and see the pokies guide for the games worth loading first.
